Giving in Line With Scripture

God’s Word teaches that giving is both an act of worship and an expression of trust.

• “Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.” (Proverbs 3:9)
• “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give… for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Scripture also reminds us that God responds to faithful giving with blessings — though not always in material form, but always according to His riches in glory and His perfect wisdom.

• “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
• “Give, and it shall be given unto you…” (Luke 6:38)

These blessings may come as peace, provision, protection, spiritual growth, answered prayer, or opportunities to serve — all shaped by His loving purpose.
